Areas of Focus

I work with adults (18+) interested in exploring how lived experiences shape who we are today and how we understand our sense of Self.

Interpersonal Trauma:

Processing the impacts of harm caused by people in our lives, including our caregivers, partners, friends, etc. For example, physical, verbal, emotional, and sexual abuse and neglect. These experiences may have happened once or they may have been repeated throughout our upbringing or the course of a relationship.

Oftentimes, interpersonal trauma is connected to systemic, historical, and intergenerational wounds.

Systemic, Historical, & Intergenerational Trauma:

Processing the impacts of structural violence, including racism, colonization/imperialization, ableism, capitalism, cis/heteronormativity, neuronormativity, etc.

These may impact you directly and/or through history, ancestry, culture, inheritance, etc.

Exploring Identity:

Discovering what aspects of your intersectional identity mean to you and relate to the ways you experience the world. For example, building an understanding of your unique needs and the ways you connect with others.
